P90X home workout program is a 90 days training program which make your body fit and strong. It consists of 12 DVDs which include sweat inducing and muscle pumping workouts.  The first DVD contains Chest and back exercises to build strength and burn calories. The second DVD has plyometrics which offers 30 explosive jumping moves in order to improve your athletic performance.

The third DVD has workouts for shoulders and arms to leave you strong and fit. The next DVD is about Yoga which is a vital part of any fitness plan. It leaves you energized and enlightened. The fifth DVD stresses on legs and back. The sixth DVD is called KenpoX and it has intense cardiovascular workout with some punching and kicking combination. The seventh DVD is about stretching and the eighth DVD is for Core Synergistics for muscle building.

Then ninth work out is for chest, shoulders and triceps which is very good for the upper body. The tenth workout is for back and biceps to tone and tighten the muscles. The next workout is Cardio X to burn some extra calories. These are low impact exercises and can be uses if your body needs a little break from high impact intense exercises. The twelfth and the last DVD is the Ab Ripper for abdominal strength and development of six pack.

Besides the above DVDs, the P90X work out program and Shakeology also contains a three phase nutrition plan. Phase 1 is fat shedder to consume more proteins and hence shed fat from your body while gaining strength. Phase 2 is the energy booster which is a mix of carbohydrates and proteins to achieve additional energy. Phase 3 is the endurance maximizer which is an athletic diet consisting of complex carbohydrates, lean proteins and low fat. A combination of these gets you in a great shape.
